St. Andrew’s clergy, staff and ministries are available to offer support, prayer and assistance during life circumstances that we all may face at some point. Here you’ll find guidance on what to do when these situations occur. 

 

What to do if...

 

You are going to the hospital:

You are confined to your home because of illness:  

Calls are made regularly by the clergy and the laity on those who are shut in. Do not hesitate to call the Parish Office at 904.725.6566 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you know of a friend who is shut in.

 
You wish to have Holy Communion brought to you at home or in the hospital: 
Request that the sacrament be brought to you when you contact the Parish Office at 904.725.6566 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
 

You are faced with a death in the family:  

Contact the Parish Office immediately at 904.725.6566. Priests are prepared to assist you with ministry and in managing the details of burial. Please consult with the Parish Office before making funeral arrangements.

 

You are planning to be married:

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for an appointment with the priest to discuss a wedding date and counseling. The church requires sixty days’ notice to provide adequate time for planning and counseling. Additional time is needed if a divorce is involved.

 

You desire the sacrament of Holy Baptism:

You want to become a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church: 

  1. if you are a member of another Episcopal Church, contact the Parish Office at 904.725.6566 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the name and address of that church and we will request a transfer on your behalf.
  2.  if you are not an Episcopalian, bring your baptismal certificate to be recorded and you will become a baptized member of the parish and the Episcopal Church.
